RECAPITULATIONS.
ADOPTED. Res. re: Appropriation of $1,562.00 from Contingency Fund to purchase a hot water heater for the Humane Society.
FINANCE. Res. re: Special appropriation of $47,889.03 to pay the final fees billed by R.W. Beck for their services.
PUBLIC WORKS AND PARKS & RECREATION. Res. re: Parks Committee is to develop a Recovery Action Plan which will include rehabilitation work as well as innovative projects as outlined in preapplication circular.
FINANCE. Res. re: Tentative Agreement between City of Meriden and MME 595.
ADOPTED. Res. re: No further expenditures for construction of Teen Center at 104 Center Street and that all bills incurred to date be paid for and City Manager prepare report on outstanding contractual obligations and Director of Finance shall prepare a resolution to rescind the bond authorization excepting expenditures already paid and incurred.
TABLED. Res. re: Teen Center Committee be re-convened to assess and evaluate various options to meet the needs of Meriden’s teens with a report back to the Council by June 4, 2001 and all work on Teen Center be delayed until recommendations have been presented to Council and approved.

FILED. Bid Waiver for Community Services Initiative Program to purchase a truck to perform maintenance and cleanup duties.

20C. DEFEATED. Finance Committee Report recommending ADOPTION of a resolution concerning an appropriation of $5,500 from Drainage Bond Account be approved to complete the drainage improvements at 52 Alanby Drive.
20D. ADOPTED. Finance Committee Report recommending ADOPTION of a resolution concerning an appropriation of $250,000 from the Retained Earnings Account for improvements to the Water Pollution Control Facility.
20E. ADOPTED. Finance Committee Report recommending ADOPTION of a resolution concerning property acquisitions required for Hanover Pond Dam Construction.
21A. ADOPTED. Public Safety Committee Report recommending ADOPTION of a resolution concerning an amendment to City Code that states if the City has to clean sidewalks, the owner of said property will be charged by putting a lien on the property.
21B. ADOPTED. Public Safety Committee Report recommending DENIAL of a resolution concerning four way stop sign to be installed at the intersection of Hillcrest Terrace and Marshall Road and that staff recommends denial based upon failure to meet any warrants for stop signs but approves the installation of sidewalks before the 2001/2002 school year.
