PUBLIC WORKS AND PARKS & RECREATION, CONSERVATION COMMISSION. Res. re: City Manager be authorized to execute any and all documents for the City to acquire title to property formerly owned by Yankee Gas located between Meridian Street and Harbor Brook.

FINANCE. Res. re: Appropriation of $50,000 from Contingency Fund to pay for the removal of trees that are diseased or unsafe or creating a safety hazard in the City of Meriden.

The Commission makes this recommendation in support of the applicants proposal to occupy the entire building at 21 Cook Avenue.

Letter to City Council from Planning Commission re: 739 Hanover Road, 101-103-115 Barr Road and 71 Pomeroy Avenue and their recommendation to acquire these properties for the purpose of flood control. These properties were identified by the Harbor Brook Flood Control Committee study as parcels that are necessary for controlling the floods along Harbor Brook. As flood control has been a top priority of the Planning Commission, it is recommended that these parcels be acquired.
